JEWELRY CARE
You pay good money for your jewelry, and you should take care of them! Here's some tips we recommend that are useful for making your jewelry last!
- Store jewelry all in a cool, dry place
- Try to keep it away from chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, hairspray, etc.
- We recommend that you take jewelry off before entering a pool, showering, AND even when washing your hands.
Turquoise is a porous stone that can absorb water - when it does, it could result in the stone cracking, dissolving, and/or changing color.
JEWELRY CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
In each jewelry order, we have added a jewelry cleaning cloth free of charge. When cleaning your pearls, always remember to use the cloth on the shiny area of the pearl, to avoid rubbing off the oxidation! This is important to avoid ruining the finish!
PEARL REPAIR POLICY
If you happen to have any issues with your piece(s), including faulty crimp beads or faulty clasps, Pearls by AK will fix them for $15, this fee includes repairing and shipping back to the purchaser. If pearls are missing, we will work with what you send back or you can pay to add pearls.
Only items with a clasp may be repaired - stretch bracelets are excluded from this policy.
If it may be that you purchased a piece from a different company and would like it repaired, the same $15 fee applies, as stated above.
