Hi everyone! I’m Anna Alexander, the owner of Pearls by AK. I've always been passionate about business and the western industry, so why not combine the two!

I started Pearls by AK in January of 2025 while I was a full-time college student and working 20 hours a week at my internship. I needed additional income and had always dreamed of owning my own pearl business—so I took the chance. What started as an idea has grown into a real business. If you want to chase your dreams, do it. Do it scared, do it lonely, do it tired, do it stressed, and do it happy. Just do it. Don’t let opportunities pass you by.

Today, Pearls by AK has shipped orders to all 50 states and three countries and continues to grow every week. I’m finishing my college degree and working a full-time job while still stringing and shipping pearls—so my turnaround time may be a bit longer than some other businesses. I’m truly a one-woman show.

I’m grateful for the support shown over the past year. Watching this business grow has been nothing short of incredible, and I’m excited to see what 2026 holds.
